Job Description

Your responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on select markets to better understand market needs and market opportunities that we can tap into
  • Develop and fine-tune Medicus’ sales strategy for such markets and opportunities
  • Represent Medicus at business-relevant events, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Meet and build relationships with various stakeholders in the healthcare industries globally, and with an opportunistic approach
  • Research, reach out, and proactively connect with potential new clients and partners in the healthcare industry, such as diagnostic labs, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies
  • Prepare presentations, project scopes, proposals, and contracts (in alignment with our legal department) to acquire new clients and upsell existing clients
  • Find ways to accelerate our growth, such as finding and supporting the right distribution or marketing partners
  • Work closely with the sales and business development leadership team to fine-tune Medicus way of selling and expanding
  • Track all efforts in the CRM and be responsible for the full pipeline reporting, and market progress to the CEO and management team


You bring:

  • A university degree, preferably in the fields of Sales, Business Administration, Engineering and/or Psychology, but any other relevant fields are welcome as well
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in negotiating and selling digital solutions deals, preferably internationally and within the healthcare industry
  • A proven track record of creating and managing a demanding sales pipeline, closing deals, and meeting ambitious targets
  • Outstanding sales skills, including knowledge about the right tools as well as psychological approaches to close clients and deals
  • Great interpersonal skills, an interactive character, and an empathetic sense for others’ needs
  • A very self-reliant, responsibility-embracing, growth-hungry, and proactive work ethos
  • Joy in setting up and following efficient and KPI-driven processes
  • Excellent time management skills and solution-oriented mindset that allow you to excel at managing several projects at a time
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in an additional language (preferably French, Arabic, German or Mandarin) is a plus
